Fun Holiday Marketing Ideas for Small Businesses
Updated: Jan 2, 2020
The holidays are just around the corner, and you may be wondering how to best take advantage of social media. Here at REDVYNE, we have a few ideas for you!

1. Host a "Visit with Santa" event!
Parents dread the lines at the mall to see a professional Santa, where all-too-often they have to keep their camera phones in their pockets and fork over money to hired photographers. As a small business owner, you are perfectly suited to meet their needs! Host a small event for a few hours on the weekend and allow parents to take their own pictures of their children with Santa.
Social media tip: make sure to create a Facebook EVENT for your event. This will allow your event to show up not just to your fans, but also anyone local searching for holiday events!
2. Have a hot holiday drink at your brick-and-mortar location for all your patrons!
It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Even some inexpensive hot cocoa or spiced cider will go a long way to helping your customers feel some holiday cheer! Set up a crock pot and small cups near the register to treat your customers!
Social media tip: Make sure to take a nice photo of the drink samples and post about it on Facebook and Instagram, with a caption like this: "Come see us in-store today to receive a complimentary holiday beverage while you shop!"
3. Offer a deal JUST for your social media followers!
For example, offer a percent-off discount at checkout if they mention they saw a certain post on Facebook or Instagram.
